About Coinbase

Coinbase is an American publicly traded company that gives some confidence to US investors. It's the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States by trading volume. The company is led by co-founder Brian Armstrong who established the company back in 2012.

The tools and features are somewhat limiting although Coinbase Pro, now merged into the overall Coinbase platform, has some more advanced trading features such as limit orders. For new users, it's a great exchange but less so for advanced traders who require the advantage of more advanced features such as futures and leverage trading.
