Basic Attention Token (BAT)

BAT (Basic Attention Token) is a token designed to enable advertisers to reward users for their attention. It is used as a means of payment within the Brave browser for users who opt-in to receive relevant ads. Read our beginner guide to the Brave Browser.

BAT tokens are also used to pay content creators who are participating in the tipping feature. The goal of BAT is to create a more efficient and fair online advertising system by directly connecting advertisers and users.
