Free Crypto? Too good to be true?
Believe it or not, there are a few ways you can receive Crypto for free! Learn how below.
Too good to be true? It's good to be sceptical but do read on because it's true and easy to do.
Air Drops
We've covered how you can earn free crypto via Air Drops previously, sometimes referred to as token distribution events. Whilst often there are criteria for eligibility, such as holding certain assets, there are also times when you don't need to do anything other than to claim, by completing an action or filling out a form. Follow our guide and other resources to find out how and when such events happen and how to claim. There have been a number of very valuable airdrops over the years with lucky recipients later selling their airdropped tokens.
Earn & Learn
Some platforms such as CoinBase offer free crypto for following very simple learning tasks with a very simple quiz at the end. These are often very short, taking about 5 minutes, to learn about a particular crypto project. So why do exchanges and projects do this? It's simply a way for new projects to fairly distribute their coins and raise awareness of their project. A win/win for both. Coinbase offers such a learn-and-earn program which can be found at coinbase.com/learning-rewards
Staking
Ok, this one isn't entirely free as you'll need to own the asset and there are two kinds, but some projects offer generous rewards in the form of more tokens just by staking. Also, some exchanges offer 'earn' programs. Most are simple and risk-free (by way of you'll always get your original amount of tokens back).
Earn Crypto Credit Card Rewards
Another simple way to earn free crypto is via certain platforms and exchanges that offer debit cards that provide cash-back in the form of their platform's token.
Always do your own research. Some commonly used platforms are crypto.com and Plutus
Browsing the Web!?
You should always be cautious about anything that offers free Crypto by downloading software (DYR). However, the Brave browser is a reputable option and could earn you a decent amount of BAT coins. Brave is a free and open-source web browser developed by Brave Software, Inc. It's based on the Chromium web browser (from Google) and is a privacy-focused browser, automatically blocking online advertisements and website trackers in its default settings. However, you can opt-in to receiving some advertisements in which you'll be rewarded in BAT.
